useul to employees of the local bodiesrequested all the state governments vide its letter of 19th
November1958 to commend this couse to the various local self-govemment institutions within their
jurisdiction , As a result, All!SG started conducting the Sanitary Inspectors' traning courses at various
cities. Students are deputed from the municipal bodies of various cities, Students are also deputed for
training from the Army, Navy, arid Air Force These are trained as per the syllabus of their respective
organisations and examinations are conducted by the Institute.
Regular Batch
12' Std. pass from any stream or Diploma holders in Engineering or Two year technical course
after 10' Std. pass or MPHW course of state govt.

2. Additional Norms & Requirements only for In-service Candidates from Government /
Semi Government Organizations
3. • Candidates should be in regular service or on continuous contract service for more than 2 years
in the government or semi government organization.
• Employment certificate: The employment certificate provided by the employer organization
should be submitted at the time of admission.
5. • Classroom timings: In the evening after office hours and also on Sundays 8 public holidays.
3. Completion of Basic Computer Course Government recognized Basic Computer Operating course
of minimum 40 hours duration in MS Office and IT Fundamentals is compulsory for admission to the
course. Those students who have not completed the said basic computer operating course shall have
to complete the course concurrently/simultaneously during his/her academic year.

Fleid training in Public Health and Sanitation Is conducted in cooperation with Directorate it Health
Services/ Public Health Department, Municipal Corporation of the Stale/City Field visit sere organized
at Urban Health Centres. Primary Health Centres and Sub-Centres to empower the student with
practical shills in Public Health.
Demonstrations / Visits:
Practical demonstrations are arranged at Infectious Diseases Hospital, Tuberculosis Hospital, S.T.D.
Clinics, Maternity Homes, Schools, Leprosy Hospitals, Family Planning Centres, Water purification
Plants, Government Dairy, Slaughter Houses, Markets, Refuse Disposal Sites, etc.
Demonstrations and Visits to such Institutions of Public Health in Urban & Rural areas are arranged
to make the students understand the various diseases
Field visits to Public Health Department, PestControl Department and Solid Waste Management
Department are also arranged to make the students understand various activities carried out by
these departments.
Project Work: To understand the concept of Health Development & Primary Health Care, dents are
given a project assignment in urban and rural areas. This will include
a)Conducting a "Base Line Survey" of the community and
b)Adoption of a family The instructions in practical training are given by ualified and experienced
staff of I Primary Health Centres
Attendance in rural and urban practical and field traning is compulsory to quality for the final
examitaion .
RULES & REGULATIONS
1. Qualification for Admission : The rules and regulations given below are applicable to all

4. on every student who joins the Sanitary Inspectors' diploma course.
Expense for practical/field visits:
Expense for attending the practical/field work/demonstration/field visits including urban and
primary health centre and inspection of trade premises shall be borne by the students.
Field training
Field training in public health and sanitation is conducted in cooperation with director ate of
health services/public health department, municipal corporation of the state/city.field visit sare
organized at urban health centres, primary health centres and sub centres to empower the
student with practical skills in public health.
Demonstration/visits
Practical demonstration are arranged at infection disease hospital, tuberculosis
hospital,s.t.d clinic, maternity homes, schools, leprosy hospital, family planning centers,water
purification plants, government dairy, slaughter houses markets refuse disposal sites,etc.

Library:
Many of AIILSG's centres offer a well-stocked library having a large collection of books on
Sanitation and Public Health, Sanitary Engineering, Environment, Panchayat-Raj and Local Bodies.
Laboratory:
A well-equipped laboratory has also been set up at most centres for demonstrating to the
studentselmentary bacteriological, clinical, pathological works and analysis of milk and water.
Where a centre does not have its own laboratory, arrange-ments to use other laboratories in the city
have en made.

Modern audio visual aids are used in the training programmes.

Students shall attend to practical and field training programme as prescribed in the syllabus.attedance
is compulsory to qualify for the final examination.

Students shall maintain two prescribed journals wherein he/she shall record his/her observations
about the labor, practical, demonstrations training, field visits programme and project assignment.
students must complete the journal and submit to the principal before stipulated time , without which,
students shall not be allowed to appear for the final examination.

Cultural Activities
To provide a constructive channel for the expression of various faculties amongst our students, to facilitate their all round moral, mental, physical development & personality development and to make their leisure constructively recreational, socially useful. The organisation conducted different cultural activities. So, the student should have to participate in the activities. The organisation also take their students on tourist visit at different places.
General Rules, Requirements &Eligibilty Admission:
1. Admission form attach with original and attested certificates of 10+2, Computer Certificate(6 months Basic) with 10 affix photographs.
2. In case of serious misbehavior, indiscipline to academic atmosphere of the college, absence from class/house test or indulgence in unfair means in any test/examination, the principal has the right to impose heavy fine or cancel admission and ban his/her entry into the college.
3. The decision of the college authorities in this regard shall be final and the creteria may be revised from time to time.
Rules for Payment of College Dues:
1. The date for the payment of the college dues will be fixed and notified by the Principal form time to time.
2. A fine of Rs.200 per day will be charged for non-payment of dues in time.
3. The students understand that dues once paid are not refundable under any circumstances whatsoever. For the Attention of Parents and Students:
1. The parents and the students are required to read the Prospectus carefully before signing the admission form.
2. No student will be allowed to enter the College premises without the Identity Card and Attendance in functions and celebrations is compulsory.
3. If I have any problem, If I will take any legal action or I will file any petition against institute/college. It should be in the local jurisdiction of the institutional area. House Examinations:
1. Any student who fails to appear in unit test & falling short of 75% attendance will not qualify for the final Board/University examination. There is no guarantee to pass the student in Unit Test and Final Exam.
2. If candidate will not appear in the exam in their current period of the course, then next year the management is not responsible for any mis-happening.
3. The name of the student who remains absent without permission for more than a fortnight will be struck off the college rolls.
